A special thank you to all who participated in our annual Give to the Max Daycampaign this month. We set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000. We are humbled and amazed by your generosity. Not only did we reach our goal, but we surpassed it by raising $57,800! Of this total, $37,800 will be used to continue our ministries of providing food, water and education to the most vulnerable Haitians. $27,000 was donated specifically to our university scholarship program. This will cover the cost of books and tuition for six students until they graduate. A university degree changes not only the life of a student, but the future of an entire family.

Ann Brau and Haitian school children
Ann Brau, President of Reiser Relief: “This exciting, one-day event allows thousands to come together and support their favorite organizations. My first visit to Haiti really touched my heart in a special way and my late uncle and founder Father Reiser felt we need to do something extra for Haiti, a country devastated in poverty.
One of our goals is to keep Father Reiser’s legacy alive by continuing to fund his projects in Haiti and be involved in helping to fund additional much-needed projects in Haiti as Father would have done.

We were able to see firsthand some of the many projects Father Reiser and Reiser Relief are part of in Haiti. We were thrilled to see all that has been done (good things ARE happening in Haiti!), but extremely touched and saddened to see how much suffering still takes place there on a daily basis. The trip strengthened our belief that we at Reiser Relief CAN make a difference in Haiti -- a difference to the MAX.
You have the opportunity to make a huge difference for the poor in Haiti. With your help Reiser Relief can continue to provide essential services to many Haitian families in their day-to-day efforts for survival. These services include providing fresh water, stocking food centers, funding education and goal in 2013 is to fund a building of a home for the forgotten elderly. We strive to meet as many practical needs as possible in this struggling country.
